Once I got a good instrumented build, I was very pleased with the capabilities of the RECON tool. I used it to make a couple of fixes to our code formatter. Instead of having to figure out the whole mess again, I was able to pinpoint the areas to review. This saved me time and frustration. (I don't particularly like working with the formatter code anyway!)
