I just recently noticed that I haven't been keeping this up-to-date so I decided to start including a "last updated" section. Here it is:

Last Updated: 10/28/1998

I will update this page very soon.

I have been a UNIX System Administrator for about 14 years. I am also the Database Manager/Administrator for Sybase and Oracle7 DBMS running on these systems. I have been an Oracle DBA for about 9 years and a Sybase DBA for about 4 years. I helped install and setup the first ethernet network at UWF and manage the network within the department. I install and setup hardware and software used by the department for both administration and course related activities. I repair where possible and replace when necessary, all hardware/software. I also assist the Math Department with their UNIX systems. I am, at present, the Computer Support Group (of 1) for the College of Science and Technology. I setup/installed/configured the hardware and software in the new College of Science and Technology's Multi-Media Lab which consists of 28 166MHZ Pentiums running Microsoft Windows95 and one dual processor 200MHZ Pentium running Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0.  I "engineered and implemented" the Windows NT network classroom/lab for the college. This room is mainly used by the Computer Science department for several courses ranging from basic computer instruction to Computer Graphics and Web Page Design instruction. It consists of  23 266MHZ Pentium WindowsNT workstations and is served by a dual processor 333MHZ Pentium WindowsNT Server.
