- CIS3990 Software Documentation
Introduction to major concepts of software systems documentation.
Students will study protocols, standards, and technologies that support software system communications
(e.g., email, text messaging, chat rooms, discussion forums, video conferencing). Students will construct software system
artifacts that support team development and evolution of software systems (e.g., memos, letters, project proposals,
progress reports, requirements, specifications, design, test plans, test reports, project reports).
Students will apply MLA, APA, and LaTex publication standards in professional/technical papers.

- COP 4723/COP 5775 Database Administration
Database administration skills covering installing,
configuring and tuning a database, administering servers and server
groups, managing and optimizing schemas, tables, indices, and views,
creating logins, configuring permissions, assigning roles and performing
other essential security tasks, backup and recovery strategies,

- CAP 4770/CAP 5771 Data Mining
Exposes students to data mining concepts and
techniques and different data mining software. Covers data preprocessing
and cleaning, concept hierarchy generation, attribute relevance
analysis, association rule mining and decision tree induction. (Contact: )
- COP 4991c Web-Enabled Applications
Introduces the student to XML structures,
DTD (Document Type Descriptions) and schema development for the purpose of managing and transferring data
and information between web enabled servers and clients. Topics include XML document format and formatting with
CSS and XSLT, XML Validation, Namespaces, Web browser DOM models, Client and Server-side processing models.

- CEN 4990 CyberSecurity and Forensics
An exploration of current
security problems and solutions found in network enabled computers. Topics include
network hardening, email and web communication, agent mobility, virus and worm creation
and prevention, and forensic techniques. Also offered as a graduate course; graduate

- COP 4990 Game Programming 2
Design and implementation of various elements of 3D computer game programming
with popular commercial software. Includes creation, manipulation, and rendering of 3D graphics and text symbols.
Object oriented design of games, GUI for games, and role of finite state machines in game development will
