The Department of Computer Science – part of the College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Science & Engineering at the University of West Florida – with locations in Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach and an expanding online course section, offers a wide range of degree programs in Computer Science (IT, Database and Web Development certificates, three minor degrees, two B.S. and two M.S.), in addition to an undergraduate program in Interdisciplinary Information Technology (B.S.).
In addition to this we conduct research and industry cooperations in various fields and offer cooperation with local High Schools to support IT education in Escambia and Santa Rosa county.
